Photon's July 1995 cover

July's cover is by Birmingham, UK, photographer Jumiah Gayle, a member of the group Cyclops featured in the July edition. Jumiah is represented through Shooting Stills, an agency which is partly non-commercial in its objectives, although it helps promote the working interests of the photographers it supports. His montage may fool you into thinking that he built a huge set and very elaborate costumes. If you look closely you will realise that this is a very proficient bit of combined studio and table-top photography completed by Photoshop work, in which the props are small, the model(s?) life-size, and some things appear twice...
