Introduction to The Master Photographers Association
The Master Photographers Association is
the United Kingdom's only fully
qualified organisation for practicing full time professional
photographers, a position it safeguards by setting rigorous entry
standards that all aspiring members must achieve.
The Association is committed to safeguarding the interests of its
qualified members and their customers by promoting high standards of
quality and service. Members are bound by the association's Code of
Professional Conduct.
Members can qualify at three levels by submission of their work.
- Licentiate (LMPA) is the entry level for corporate membership showing
their ability to create merchantable quality photography.
- Associate (AMPA) awarded in recognition of the member's excellence in
technique.
- Fellowship (FMPA) the highest award, for members at the leading edge in
the art of photography
